Grey Seal And Her Pup

Grey Seals are one out of two seal subspecies, which are native to the UK. This seal subspecies is born in a white non-waterproof fur coat, and will moult into the first adult fur coat after mum leaves them (it is now understood that this happens when they will be 18-21 days of age).
There is a close bond between mum and the pup for the first three weeks of the pups life, and this provides fantastic photo opportunities as well - like looking at each other.
