Grey Seal

Grey Seals are one out of two seal subspecies, which are native to the UK.
This female looks somehow happy and peaceful. It is usually not recommended to photograph a seal from the front as this may alert her or him and will lead to stress. If you take your photos from a good distance with the appropriate lenses, you may be able to get one image without disturbing the seal. In order to ensure, I will not disturb the seals (or other wildlife) I using also an electronic (silent) shutter.
