Wildlife Photography for Teenagers
The Wildlife Photography for Teenagers workshop is a photography experience for children, aged 12-15 years. This photography workshop offers the children and their guardian to learn different aspects of photography; covering technical aspects like exposure and focus settings as well as composition of images plus how to approach taking photos of wildlife in captivity (as they will do during the photography workshop) and in the natural habitat areas.

As with all our photography workshops, the teenagers will of course
- Have the option to take a 30-minutes Online Photography Session prior to the photography workshop,
- Have access to support with setting up their cameras and any photography related questions throughout the workshop,
- Be able to learn about the animals, they photograph and gaining a better understanding about the animals behaviour and how this can help in getting better images.

Feedback from participants on previous Zoo Photography for Children workshops:
By Katie Long:
"Hi Barbara, James and Thomas had a fantastic day on 23rd March 2019 at Colchester zoo with you. We had never been to Colchester before, but it is a lovely zoo we will be returning to again. The experience you gave them was wonderful, your patience with children getting to grips with their cameras was wonderful and very educational, not only in terms of the camera but also your knowledge of the animals they were photographing which gave it a very personal touch. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon and a wonderful experience in getting so close to the animals. Thank you once again. Katie, Simon, James and Thomas."
