Group of Young Grey Seals

Grey Seals are one out of two seal subspecies, which are native to the UK. Norfolk has the largest breeding colonies of grey seals outside Scotland (85% of grey seals live up there).
After the pupping season (when the grey seal pups are born), seals will stay mainly on land while they are moulting into a new fur coat (they do this once a year) and this includes the young ones born in the pupping season before this.
