Great Grey Owl

We pass the birds of prey, including the great grey owl enclosure on our way down to the tigers on our Big Cat Photography and on some of the children's photography workshops at Colchester Zoo. We do occasionally stop here when particpants would like to take photos of these magnificant birds.
This is the Great Grey Owl, which perches usually up in her box or on one of the branches. However, sometimes she may be on the ground to find food as she was on the day when I took this photo.
