Amur Leopard - Akovi

The Amur leopard is one of the, if not the most endangered big cat species on the planet. Colchester Zoological Society has a breeding pair (Esra and Crispin)[/i}, who have had two litter of cubs; a boy and a girl each time.
This is Akovi, who was born together with his sister, Anya on 24 November 2024. They were just over 6 months old when I took this photo. Photographing cubs takes a lot of patience as you never know what may happen when and it is usually happening fast.
