Our next photography experiences will be the Big Cat Photography workshop at Colchester Zoo on 15 June 2018 and
the Big and Small Wild Cat photo day at the Cat Survival Trust on 14 July 2018.

Only 1 space is still available on the BCP workshop in June but plenty of spaces are still available for the photo day in July.

In connection with our objective to raise awareness for Big Cats and the conservation efforts around them, we have been offering talks about the Big Cats, wildlife conservation and wildlife photography for the last 2 years. This will continue to be a key part of Photography for Big Cats, and we will venture out to reach more people, who would like to learn what a Big Cat is and what threats they face in their natural habitat.

New in 2013 (from April 2013) will be that we will offer our talks at a very special venue, the Cat Survival Trust. Our customers know the Cat Survival Trust as one of our photography course and photo day venues, where they have great opportunities to meet and photograph snow leopards, Amur leopards, the jaguar and the many other cats.

At the moment, volunteers at the trust build a new meeting/function room, which will be available not only for the theory part of our photography courses, but also for our talks from Easter 2013.

While our talks so far consisted of our speaker visiting a group, based on a pre-arranged agreement, and to provide the talk at their venue, we will be able to invite groups to visit this very exclusive venue (not open to the public).

The talks will be charged per person, but will provide you with a lot more than a verbal and photographic insight into the Big Cat world. Besides our talk, there will be a talk by the director of the Cat Survival Trust about the work at the centre and in other countries like Argentina. Furthermore, our groups will have the chance to meet the cats of this venue on a guided tour, where you can learn even more about their species. And last, but not least every guest of our talks at the Cat Survival Trust will become a member of the trust, and through this will be able to come back over the year following the initial visit (by prior arrangement).

Through holding talks at a venue with big and small cats, our talks will provide an exciting experience. For more information on the type of talks, we are providing and the fees, we are charging please visit our Talks page.
